Team

Juan Mayoral is the Chairman and CEO of Sofos Harbert. Juan is also the founder of Sofos Energy in 2004, where he served as CEO of the company until 2021. Sofos is a company offering turn-key solutions on solar photovoltaic systems for Commercial, Industrial and Utility sector. Juan is a cofounder of UNEF, the most important solar energy association in Spain.

Before founding Sofos Energy, Juan worked as a software engineer at INGENICO in Spain, England, France and U.S.A. Afterwards, Juan joined the US telecommunications firm CIENA, where he held different positions as engineer and sales. He graduated at ETSETB-UPC in Barcelona, Spain, with a Telecommunications Master Engineer degree.

Marc Mir is the technical director and R&D manager of SM2050. His role consists of leading the technological development of the company to offer the most cutting-edge solutions in the field of monitoring solar plants.

Before joining SM2050, Marc held positions as hardware developer and technology manager, in sectors as demanding as the automotive industry.
He graduated in Physics and Electronic Engineering at the University of Barcelona and is currently a PhD researcher in Explainable Artificial Intelligence applied to photovoltaic systems.

Since 1994, Group Saltó provides global services, adding value to ICT, from its implementation, evolution and maintenance. Since the alliance of both companies in 2018, Group Saltó has been the driving force behind the technological development of SM2050 Technology and Services.
